Manas College proudly presents Mr. Mayank Joshi, a shining example of excellence and creativity, and one of the most promising alumni of the 2021–24 batch of B.Sc. Information Technology. Known as an “eye of the 2021–24 batch”, Mayank was famous for his extraordinary involvement in college life. Throughout his academic journey he actively took part in numerous academic, technical and cultural events, consistently showcasing innovation, creativity and strong practical skills. His enthusiasm, discipline and ability to stand out in every responsibility entrusted to him made him a remarkable presence on campus. The Training and Placement Team spoke with Mayank about his experiences, learnings and future aspirations.

How would you describe your overall learning journey at Manas College during your degree programme?

My experience at Manas College was both enlightening and life-changing. It focused not only on academics but also on the overall development of personality. The encouraging faculty, hands-on experience and engaging learning atmosphere allowed me to establish a solid base while fostering curiosity, self-assurance and independent thought.

What skills, habits or perspectives did you develop at Manas College that you still carry forward today?

While at Manas College, I acquired vital skills like clear communication, time management, collaboration, teamwork and problem-solving. I gained an understanding of discipline, adaptability and ongoing learning, practices that still influence me in my personal and professional life.

Which moments, activities or experiences from your college life stand out as most valuable to you now?

Among the most enriching experiences are engaging in guest lectures and seminars, collaborating on group projects, delivering presentations and taking part in extracurricular activities. Engaging with faculty mentors and working with peers on academic and cultural activities allowed me to build confidence and expand my viewpoint beyond the classroom.

How has your education at Manas College helped you feel prepared or confident while exploring different career paths?

The education I received at Manas College equipped me with theoretical understanding and practical experience, making me feel ready to pursue different career options. The focus on practical applications, analytical thinking and job-related skills gave me the confidence to tackle challenges and adjust to new opportunities.

What would you like to tell a student who is considering joining Manas College?

I would advise future students that Manas College provides a nurturing and development-focused atmosphere where education extends beyond the classroom.
